一大早，我就起床吃好早饭，我们就开车出发了。一路上我透过玻璃窗看到马路两旁一棵棵大树和一幢幢高楼大厦，厦门真是个美丽的城市。不一会儿功夫，我们就来到了目的地——厦门大学。只见门口排着好长的队，像是一条巨龙盘旋在厦门大学的门口。我们也和大家一样有秩序排队进入了校园。一进校园我就看见一个公园，茂盛的树木、鲜艳的花草、开阔的草坪、宁静的湖泊、风格各异的建筑。首先我们去了鲁迅馆，很可惜没有对外开放。于是我们就来到了旁边一家很有特色的商店，里面什么东西都有，最吸引我的是还是用一些细细的铁丝做成的飞机、车等一些小工艺品。原来这是厦门大学未一的一家百货店为学生提供的。走着走着我看见一座石像，他就是陈嘉庚爷爷的雕像。是这所闻名中外的厦门大学创办人。接着我们又来到了景色怡人的芙蓉湖，湖里还住着几位嘴红红的全身长着一身黑黑羽毛的黑天鹅。最后我们去了白城沙滩玩，那里的沙子洁白如雪，海水碧蓝碧蓝的。

早上起来，我们坐车先到了厦门大学，妈妈说厦门大学是教育部直属的全国重点大学，由著名爱国华侨领袖陈嘉庚先生于1921年创建，是中国近代教育史上第一所由华侨创办的大学，也是中国唯一一所地处经济特区的高水平研究型大学。学校依山伴海，建筑独特，风景秀丽迷人，被誉为中国最美的大学校园。我们在校园里照了许多照片，来到这里，妈妈说主要是让我们感受大学校园的气氛。
